Electrical Outlets Specification

The electric installation is in accordance with rules and regulations stipulated by the Aruban Government Technical Department (D.T.I.) and the local power utility company (ELMAR). Both abide by the Dutch norm (NEN 1010).

The electricity is supplied as alternating current (AC) at a voltage of 110 volt (V) at a speed of 60 Hertz (Hz). Air-condition units and some other big appliances are supplied with 220 V. All connections are grounded.

The following specification covers standard installation for all Electric Sockets, Switches, Light Connections, Cable/ TV Sockets, and Telephone Sockets.

Where ELMAR requires, an electrical house will be installed at the front perimeter of your land lot. The customer will be charged extra for the electrical house and the cable installation leading to the house.

All other(s), not specified hereunder will be charged extra.
